A look at how the Sahwah Hifz Summer 2026 program is structured, week by week.
May 31 & June 1
Every child is assessed in person before the program begins, so we can place them appropriately. The goal is for each child to gain maximum benefit without being overwhelmed.
June 8 – 11
Mastery of the Tajweed rules and revision of basic surahs your child has already memorized. Taught by Ust. Muhammad Umar Mustafa.
June 15 – July 16
Perfection of recitation of the Mushaf with proper Tajweed rules, memorization of new surahs from Juz Amma, and constant revision to ensure retention of memorized surahs. Taught by Shaykh Abdullah Syed.
July 20 – 24
A discussion with parents, teacher, and student about achievements and goals for the rest of the summer and the upcoming academic year. Children receive a certificate of completion during this week.

The program runs in a morning session (11:30 AM – 1:15 PM) and an afternoon session (1:00 PM – 2:45 PM), Monday through Thursday. The 15-minute overlap is the Salah break. You may register your child for the morning session, the afternoon session, or both. Children registered for both sessions get a 25% discount on tuition.
June 8 to July 16, 2026. Mondays through Thursdays, two sessions per day.
Tajwid Masterclass week (June 8–11) is taught by Ust. Muhammad Umar Mustafa. Shaykh Abdullah Syed teaches the remaining five weeks of the program.
Assessment days: Sunday, May 31 and Monday, June 1 at MAGR.
MAGR Summer Camp families: we recommend the PM session so it doesn’t conflict with camp.
